Children’s Programming

Mommy & Me

Program will start back up on January 14, 2019

No program will be held on January 21st, February 18, March 25th or April 1st 2019

Socialization is just one of the benefits of our infant class, but we also focus on early literacy skills. From the time they are infants, children learn language and other important skills that will help them learn to read. We try to develop these skills by incorporating reading, singing, signing and play into our class.

Toddler Corral

Tuesdays from 10:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m.
If you have questions please call the library at 765-536-2335.

No program will be held on March 26th or April 2nd of 2019

In the “Corral”, we try to develop interest in reading by “shared reading”. We discuss the book cover and try to predict what the book is about. We ask the children questions about the book as we read. Our toddlers will also sing songs, do a little activity and have a small snack at the end of the class.

“The Sprout Readers Program”

Adult Programming

“Young Adult Program”

7th to 12th grade

Some things we will do: collect food for the Hope Center, make crafts for someone or for use at the library, and this fall we will make wreaths and center pieces. Come have fun with your friends and earn community volunteer hours!
